If you're looking for a robotic vacuum that also mop, this is the model you should go for. It's smaller than other models on this list making it easier to maneuver through tight corners and under furniture. It has a 220 degree Lidar that, combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, gives it one of my top navigation and object avoidance features I've seen in a robotic vacuum. It's powered by a 4600mAh battery that can last for up to 170 minutes if mopping and sucking is set to standard mode. (It can be more efficient when using turbo). It will even return to its dock to recharge its battery mid-clean.
It's very quick and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted rooms quickly and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and hallways in just one motion. Its 8,000pa motor is able to clean dirt as well as pet hair and droppings effortlessly. Carpet detection automatically increases power when it detects carpets and the double side brush assists in removing debris from corners.
The mopping performance, though still impressive, is not as impressive. The mop's rotating motor spins at a high speed and pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly scrubbing up dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arm protrudes out a bit more than other robots. This is helpful when getting into tight corners or on baseboards. It doesn't create the same amount of noise while vacuuming or mopping and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it has to use a proprietary mopping solution and is sold separately. It's simple to set up and is effective however, this is something that you'll have to keep an eye on when you purchase this vacuum solely for the purpose of mopping.

The Matrix Plus is a 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop, which means it is able to handle both vacuuming and mopping. The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive in our review. However, it does have certain unique features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni's most appealing feature is its enormous dock that doubles as a charging base and housing for two 4 liter water tanks, a sink for cleaning and the 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically eliminates.
The base comes with a few control buttons that let you manually start cleaning tasks, recall the robot or run the dock’s auto-emptying procedure. Hold down two buttons to turn off the child lock. This is a nice feature for parents who are concerned about their children messing around with the vacuum.
The Omni Omni like other robotic vacuums, utilizes its camera to identify obstacles and furniture in its path. It will avoid them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system maps your home 10 times faster than standard laser detection systems and is four times more precise at recognizing objects.
This can cause the X1 to get stuck if it gets entangled in a blockage, such as a power cable tangled over a rug. It will not work until you remove it manually. This was a rare occurrence, but frustrating nonetheless, because the X1 doesn't have a "stuck status" alert on its application.
Another issue that could be a problem is one of the biggest drawbacks is X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming modes during the cleaning process. You will have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad but the mopping pad isn't cleaned or dried between uses. This can lead to mildew and mold.
The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame), who created its sleek, modern base and mopping pad. It's a big difference from the utilitarian black bases of rivals such as Roborock or iRobot. And it's an excellent choice for a market dominated by clunky boxy models.
